FAQ
-
What kind of training programs do you offer?
I offer board & train, private one-on-one sessions, and behavior modification programs. Whether your dog needs basic obedience, off-leash control, or help with aggression or reactivity, I have a program designed to help.
-
How do I know which program is right for my dog?
We can start with a phone consultation to understand your dog's behavior, training goals, and lifestyle. From there, I'll recommend the best fit.
-
What is a board & train, and how does it work?
Your dog will stay with me for a set period of time (usually 2-6 weeks) and gets daily, structured training. We work on everything from basic obedience to complex behavioral issues. You'll get regular updates and go-home lessons to ensure a smooth transfer of skills.
-
Do you work with aggressive or reactive dogs?
Yes! I specialize in behavior modification and have years of experience working with dogs showing fear, reactivity, or aggression. Each case is different, so I'll assess your dog and give realistic expectations during the consultation.
-
Where are you located and do you travel?
I'm based in Arizona and I do accept board and train dogs from all over. I do offer travel but that would depend on availability.
-
Will the training actually last after my dog comes home?
Yes, but it depends on your consistency. I don't just train your dog, I also train you.
-
Do you guarantee results?
I don't offer generic guarantees - dogs aren't machines. I do promise/guarantee proven methods, clear communication, and results that stick when the training is reinforced at home. Your commitment matters as much as mine.
-
What methods do you use?
I use balance training, tailored to each dog. That means we reinforce good behavior and address unwanted behavior clearly and fairly. My approach builds confidence, structure, and trust.
